Condition: Pristine - recently bottled from cask.

Note: Always the safest bet, vintage dessert wines make great gifts. Their higher sugar content makes them longer-lived and easier to store than their drier counterparts, usually making them more expensive. This wine is guaranteed to please and at this price, is a steal. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Tasting Note:
Astonishing complexity at such a price. On first sniff, the nostrils are filled with tangy orange marmalade, poached peaches and wood smoke, then hints of dried papaya, raisins and sultanas. The palate adds yet more flavour impressions with an exotic mix of Moroccan coffee and rich cocoa beans infused with Demerara sugar. This remarkable offering is not huge on the palate, yet offers constantly evolving nuances and a cleansing 'Bual' like acidity on the long satisfying finish. Impressive, complex and full of life.
