Condition: Pristine - recently bottled from cask.

Note: Always the safest bet, vintage dessert wines make great gifts. Their higher sugar content makes them longer-lived and easier to store than their drier counterparts, usually making them more expensive. This wine is guaranteed to please and at this price, is a steal. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Tasting Note Jancis Robinson MW:
Pale orange, just very slightly darker than the 1979. Rich, slightly 'ashy' nose. Then very lively palate. Lighter than the earlier wines. Quite flirtatious, very fresh. Good attack, very slightly sherrified.
