Condition: Great level for the vintage (Top Shoulder). Label is foxed from cellaring, though all details are legible (and for a wine of this age, it is the level that counts).

Condition: Level at 4cms from the base of the cork with bin-soiled, slightly damaged, though perfectly legible label (please see Large Image). Signs of heavy sediment so this wine will need to be left for 48 hours (to allow it to settle) and opened and poured very carefully (or decanted).

Formally the hunting lodge of the late King Emmanuel, Fontanafredda estate was also home to his mistress the Bella Rosa Rosin.
