Tasting Note: This wine possesses a fragrant, attractive nose reminiscent of summer fruit compote and Mediterranean spices. The palate is medium bodied and packed with jammy, baked red and black fruit flavours, soft, well integrated structure and a rounded, dry finish. Vinification Note: Sourced from bush vine trained, well established Primitivo vines within the Candido estate. The bunches are hand harvested, crushed into steel and fermented with gentle skin contact. Ageing is also in stainless steel in order to soften the structure and bring out the ripe fruit characteristics gained in this hot, dry part of Italy.
