Tasting Note: Supple on the palate with good structure and substance, lifted by gorgeous red fruit and spicy notes.
Vinification Note: AREA PLANTED: 15 hectares (37 acres). YIELD: 60 hectolitres per hectare. PRODUCTION: approximately 120,000 bottles. SOIL TYPE: limestone - clay. PRUNING METHOD: Single Guyot. VINE AGE: 20 years. MATURING: Stainless steel tanks and new French oak barrels, a third of which are replaced every year. VINE DENSITY: 3,000 vines per hectare. VINIFICATION: traditional vinification with regular pumping over. Temperature control and a 2 to 3-week maceration period. BOTTLING: 10 months after the harvest.
