Muscat Millesime 2004 (75cl)
Grape varieties: 100% Muscat Petits Grains.
Type: AOC COSTIERES DE NIMES
Vinification: Selected from low yielding 15 year old vines, the grapes are left to over-ripen on the vines, then hand-picked. Pressed, racked and fermented at controlled, low temperatures, fermentation is stopped by the addition of 5% of fortifying spirit.
Tasting : Amber-yellow with rich, ripe peaches, hints of liquorice, verbena and grapefruit on the nose. This wine is unique due to its delicious fresh acidity and low percentage of residual sugar. Typically long finish that you would expect from a Muscat.
Food Match: Serve as an aperitif or with foie gras and desserts (especially fruit salads).
Ageing: For drinking now or can be cellared for several years.
Price: £10.09
(Including: VAT at 17.5%)

Château L'Ermitage Grenache 2000 (75cl)
Grape varieties: 100% Vieux Grenache.
Type: AOC COSTIERES DE NIMES
It is only in exceptional years that Château L'Ermitage can produce this sweet "Vendanges Tardives" wine. Over-ripe Grenache grapes with a potential alcohol content of about 18% volume, make this almost ruby-port-style wine another unique dessert wine from L'Ermitage.
Tasting: Polished mahogany red in colour. Notes of cherry, fig and cocoa. Mellow, not too syrupy with elegant tannins.
Food Match: Serve as an aperitif or with foie gras, roquefort, chocolate desserts or ice-cream.
Ageing: For drinking now or can be cellared for several years.
Price: £18.74
(Including: VAT at 17.5%)
