Tasting Note: Intensive ruby red colour with violet hues. Typical hints of roses and violets on the nose. On the palate the wine is complex with a firm structure, round and fruity. The finish is dry and long. Vinification Note: 'Lacrima' is a small and ancient grape variety named for the characteristic drops that appear on ripe bunches. Grapes are harvested in the middle of October and alcoholic fermentation is on the skins for 10 to 12 days. Malolactic fermentation occurs in small stainless steel vats, thereafter the wine is allowed to age in the bottle for 3 months prior to release.
