| Gigondas, Paul Jaboulet Aine 1970 (75cl) Condition: Levels at 5cm - 6.5cm from base of cork, labels foxed and cellar stained, though all details are clearly legible.
Note: Whilst the levels for this wine are not ideal, the colour is good with no signs whatsoever of excessive ageing. We have tried a number of vintage wines from Jaboulet and have never been disappointed - but then they do produce the best wines in the Rhone (and hold an auction record with the 1961 Hermitage La Chapelle which sold for over £10,000 per bottle). Expect a fair amount of sediment - we suggest the wine is laid for 48 hours or more to allow this to settle.

| Châteauneuf du Pape Domaine du Grand Tinel 1981 (75cl) Tasting Note: This wine just got better and better and should probably have been decanted. Typically full-bodied, complex and silky with a wonderful, long finish. Frankly, this wine would give Vieux Telegraph or indeed Beaucastel (two of the top CDP's) a run for their money.
