Harrisons Fine Wines first opened its doors in November 2003. The first fine wine retailer in Crieff, it was for owners Simon and Sue Harrison a natural extension of their virtual store, Winestore.co.uk (formerly the Internet Winestore).

In December 2010, Harrisons opened their second shop in Comrie, Perthshire. With the focus on serving the local community, Harrisons in Comrie is more of a boutique, though there are still around 400 wines to choose from. Comrie itself is one of the prettiest towns in Perthshire and offers both one of the best restaurants in the area, The Deil's Cauldron as well as a classy, family-run hotel, The Royal Hotel.

Dale Phillips joined the team in 2007. Harrisons remains closely affiliated to Winestore: when you call Winestore, your call goes to the shop so you are speaking to an expert right away.

Knowledgeable and above all approachable, Simon, Sue, Dale, Fin and Rod take time to get to know your tastes and preferences.

As well as catering for the local community, Harrisons supplies a number of local restaurants and hotels. If you are staying locally, why not call the shop and order your wine before you arrive? Ask about wine dinners and tastings - with themed evenings such as 'Italy & Game' and "Champagne & Seafood", these are great nights out, good value and informative (without being stuffy).
