Winestore.co.uk ~ because life's too short to drink bad wine!

Wine enthusiasts Simon and Sue Harrison set up Winestore.co.uk (then the Internet Winestore) in 1998, with the aim of finding great wines and bringing them to you at affordable prices.

The Internet Winestore was one of the first wine stores on the web. It became synonymous with quality and excellent value, while keeping to the original philosophy of offering some of the best prices for wine on the net.

Harrisons Fine Wines

Gradually expanding over the next five years, the business relocated from Norfolk to Crieff in Scotland, where Simon and Sue opened their first fine wine shop, Harrisons Fine Wines, in November 2003.


David and Jayne Owen joined the business in 2004. Fellow wine enthusiasts ready for a new challenge, years of experience in web development and e-marketing made it a natural step for them to manage the web site.

A vintage year
2005 brings changes for everyone at Winestore and Harrisons Fine Wines.

• Internet Winestore relaunches as Winestore.co.uk with a fresh new design and updated catalogue and wine list.
• Simon and Sue spend more and more time sourcing quality wines from Europe and the New World, either directly from the vineyards or through suppliers.
• Harrisons Fine Wines takes on new manager Jo Mackintosh.
