Excellent. Wax sealed, the level is well into the neck and the label is printed directly onto the bottle so is in perfect condition
Probably the best known sherry producer, John Harvey and Sons was founded in 1796 and is now owned by drinks' giant, Beam Suntory. Harvey's Bristol Cream is a blend of four types of sherry, Fino, Amontillado, Oloroso and a small amount of the super-sweet Pedro Ximenez (which also delivers its creaminess).
The high sugar content in sherries gives them enormous ageing potential. Magnums also age better than bottles, so this sherry should be drinking superbly well.
We have tried some of these specially blended vintage sherries and they are delicious. The flavours develop wonderfully over the years and the only thing to watch for is a little sediment, so open and pour carefully (or decant). For a birthday or anniversary function, this made make a great addition to the event.
