Chablis is an isolated area to the north west of Burgundy that produces dry white wines famed for their minerality and crisp acidity. Here the limestone and Kimmeridgian clays combine to ensure the Chardonnay grape performs at its best. Few Chablis producers use oak, so the full flavours of the grape come through across the 4 levels of quality that are set by the soil mineral mix. From the top, Chablis Grand Cru, Chablis Premier Cru, Chablis and Petit Chablis producing not just superb wines but an education to the terroir story.
