AboutTesseron is a little known family producer of high quality cognacs. Founded in 1905 by Abel Tesseron it has since been handed down to his son and grandson Alfred who manages the house today and owns the prestigious Chateau Pontet-Canet in Pauillac.
Tesseron distinguishes their Cognacs by 'lots', a term rarely used in the Charente. These lots are in fact assemblies of their best reserves. Each of their reserves is carefully selected by the cellar master and reflects the style and history of the Tesseron house.
Because Tesseron is not a 'Grande Marque', is does not command the prices of the well-known brands of XO such as Hennessey, Hine, Remy Martin, etc. However, as a smaller company, their attention detail and quality of their cognacs is remarkable.
