Excellent condition with levels into the neck, good labels and a deep, bright ruby colour.
An Appellation just next door to Pomerol, this small region turns out some great wines at really competitive prices and is a similar blend, namely predominantly Merlot. And as with Pomerol, the production is small and Château Labory produce only 6,500 - 8,000 bottles per year.
From the excellent 1989 vintage, which was awarded 5 stars by wine critic Michael Broadbent. This is a wine we've tried and really enjoyed so have no hesitation recommending.
