In great condition with high levels (very top shoulder) and good clean labels.
Increasingly rare, Barberas that pre-date 1970 were made to be cellared for longer periods than today. In the 1970's and 80's, a change took place in Piedmont when producers changed the style, making fruiter, less tannic wines that could be drunk younger. This change in the wine makes the predecessors even more important as they cannot easily be replaced with their modern counterparts.
This is a great looking bottle in outstanding condition for its age.
