Excellent level and label. Numbered bottle with its original necktag.
The house of Lamberti is a relative newcomer in the wine world, having been established in 1964. It is located in Lazise on the shores of Lake Garda and takes its name from one of the oldest Veronese families to which the famous tower in Verona's Piazza delle Erbe is dedicated.
Proud, majestic, complex and exuberant, Amorone is a gentle giant. Lamberti's is a typical blend of Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone from the best parcels in the areas of San Pietro in Cariano, Negrar, Fumane and Marano. The best bunches are selected, hand-picked and carefully placed in crates to dry for around 100 days in well-ventilated rooms. By January, the juice is very concentrated and the grapes are pressed and fermented on the skins to achieve the maximum from the fruity aromas to the soft, velvety tannins.
An excellent example of this great wine, this is our only bottle and should be drinking superbly.
