Tasting Notes
Fuchsia pink in colour with raspberries, pomegranate and touches of cranberries on the palate. Good acidity without being overly dry and a crisp finish, reminiscent of freshly picked strawberries. All-in-all, an elegant and tasty Rose.
About
Some of the best Rose wines come from this part of France and further south in Provence. The hot Mediterranean climate is ideal for Grenache and Syrah, which are the principal varieties for the reds too from this part of France (such as Cotes du Rhone and Chateauneuf du Pape).
As with all Rose wines, Les Terraces Rose is made by leaving the juice on the skins for a much shorter period, since it is the skins that give red wines their colour (and tannins). With no oak used in the vinification process, the flavours represent a true reflection of the two grape varieties used.Ideal with...
Excellent as an aperitif and pairs well with cold meats, salads, poached salmon, stuffed peppers and pizza.
