Tasting Notes
Pale green with a fresh bouquet of white flowers and lemon. Crunchy green apples on the palate with great fruit and acidity, this is a full, well balanced, dry white wine with a lovely long finish.
About
Because of its low acidity and citrus, herbaceous characteristics, Grenache Blanc is a great variety for blending, often enhancing other varietals. Thought to have mutated from its red cousin, its history is little known, though it is now fairly widely used in Southern France and in Rhone blends.
As with the red Les Terraces (Grenache Merlot), this is a very versatile wine, great for functions such as weddings, with or without food, and a great value wine to have on hand in the cellar.Ideal with...
Good as an aperitif and with grilled fish and other seafood. It will also work with white meats and most vegetarian dishes.
